Etihad Airways offers its passengers travel in a luxury three-room suite the Residence. The one-way ticket costs more than $80,000.
Etihad Airways has introduced a London-Melbourne return journey ticket costing more than $80,000. The price is approximately $4,500 more than the previous most expensive round trip ticket in the luxurious suite the Residence, from New York to Mumbai with one stop in Abu Dhabi.
The Residence is a luxury three-room suite, available only on Etihad’s fleet of Airbus A380 to A800 aircrafts. The Residence is called “a penthouse in the sky”, featuring all the amenities of a five star hotel, and has helped the carrier to win a great number of awards for first class travel. The suite comes with 125 square feet in total area. Located on the forward upper deck of the Airbus, it is available for single or double occupancy.
The suite features a bedroom with a flat double bed; a living room with a leather double sofa, a 32-inch flat screen television and foldaway dining tables; a private bathroom with shower, make-up mirror and hairdryer.
The occupants of Etihad’s the Residence will enjoy freshly-prepared meals cooked to order by an on-board chef and served by a Savoy-trained butler. Each of Etihad’s luxury flights has a flying nanny trained by Norland College in Britain.
The ticket cost includes luxury chauffeured transport to and from the airport, a private lounge and a personal travel concierge, able to do everything, from booking tickets to a sporting event or concert to reserving a table at a restaurant.
Well, if you have a spare 40 grounds, consider flying with Etihad Airways.
