Buick Enspire 2018 SUV uses Cadillac’s Super Cruise system.
Buick pulled the wraps off its new Enspire 2018 concept SUV. The electric concept car made its debut at Auto China in Beijing. It has semi-autonomous features, enviable range and is quicker than ever.
Buick shared the first images of its new SUV concept just ahead of the auto show. First of all, the concept is incredibly good looking and full of advanced technology promises. Sleek design and smooth uninterrupted curves are giving the SUV elegance and also meant to improve its aerodynamic performance.
The vehicle combines a very usable 370-mile range with GM’s Super Cruise semi-autonomous driver assist system that had first appeared in Cadillac models. The SUV is meant for five passengers. The concept adopts some of the technologies already seen on other concepts, such as OLED display screen to project vehicle information and an intelligent augmented reality technology-based head-up display system, navigation, and audio functions, along with 5G connectivity. Inside, Buick mixes materials such as microfiber suede natural wood and according to Buick, the Enspire has a “‘surround skyline interior theme and suspended theater-type seating.”
The Enspire can achieve up to 370-miles on a single charge and can regenerate 80 percent of capacity in just 40 minutes. Buick’s eMotion electric drivetrain technology can generate a maximum of 410kW, which will enable it to race from 0-60mph in four seconds.
GM has already given pledges to release more than 20 new electric vehicles by 2023, and one of them is the Enspire with its sophisticated driver assistance system and generous range.
